If an idea is a resonating phenomenon caught in concsciousness, the only thing I need to do is stay focused on accuracy of translation. Like tuning a radio dial to catch a station. However, unlike music, this is a non-verbal and unwritten visual language of organic accidents/discoveries, colors, shapes, concepts, emotions and curiosities.
The thing that always keeps me engaged with this practice/process of translation is the way it makes me feel connected to something that moves through my hands yet simultaneously acts as a soulful nutrient. A face I have never seen but recognize. A new creature capable of independent thought...or in a nutshell, just good simple childhood fun.
