Miles Eastman is a sculptor who splits his time between Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay. He has studied sclpture in Tuscany with artist Marco Zeno as well as working in a foundry casting bronze in Los Angeles. He has been an Artist-in-Residence with organizations such as Mendocino Art Center and the Sierra Nevada Research Institute in Yosemite California.
Eastman's work has been commissioned for TV shows like Nip/Tuck and exhibited in galleries in New York and Los Angeles. He works in a wide range from creating fine art figurative pieces to deconstructing the American flag which conceptually teases out the questions of patriotism.
Eastman also has jewelry and accessories line based on natural forms for boutique markets and is in collaboration with leather bag designer Basil Racuk in San Francisco.
