On Sunday, February 22,
from 2 – 3:30pm, a Spoken Word Performance with Lydia Lunch joined by Admiral Grey will be held. Reservations required. $17 online pre-paid tickets (reserve your seat now), $20 at door if seats are available. Cited by Time Out magazine as “one of the most influential performers to have emerged from New York City,” Lydia Lunch first burst onto the scene in the 70s at the age of 16 with “a small suitcase, a winter coat, and a big attitude.” Since that time, Lunch has performed with countless bands including Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, 8-Eyed Spy, 1313, and, most recently, Big Sexy Noise, and Retrovirus. She has produced spoken word records, curated performance series in America and Europe, and worked with dozens of luminaries in film, music and literature. Lunch has written five books, which have been translated into seven languages, released more than 30 LPs and continues to be a driving force in art, music, and literature and especially her forte, performance. |

Joining her will be Composer, Writer, Director, Designer and Musician Admiral Grey, who expresses her work through experimental theater, video, performance pieces and live music - sometimes all combined. This year sees the release of her band Cellular Chaos' sophomore album, "Diamond Teeth Clenched" as well as a compilation album of her solo work from the last 10 years.
All are invited to take in the outrageous, poignant and at times wickedly humorous spins on what Ms. Lunch is so adamantly passionate about from love to the state of the planet, and to enjoy the mesmerizing performance of Admiral Grey. Reservations required.
