RAINDEAR Brings a Shower of Art Offerings
at Gallery 525 during the Holidays
The show RAINDEAR came to fruition out of many ideas and needs, the first obvious one being a petition for rain to bring much-needed water to our lovely, yet parched locality. Next, the thought of enlisting the help of the celebrated northern mammal, the reindeer brought to fame pulling Santa's sleigh, came to mind to shake some H2O our way down from the hinterlands. Along with this plea is a playful request to loved ones, our own Dears, to shower us with gifts from the abundance of imaginative artists in our midst that thrill our minds and sensibilities in celebration of ideas, humor, color, form, touch via paintings, drawings, mixed media, assemblage, sculpture, photographs, ceramics, jewelry, prints, ornaments and cards. Offering their works in smaller formats specifically for RAINDEAR, we are all excited to experience the beneficence of expression by the artists in the exhibition in a great downpour of creativity and ingenuity.
