Love Potion No. 9, 9 x 9 Small Works at Gallery 525
The 2nd Annual Small Works show at Gallery 525 has an intriguing theme this year, and Love Potion No. 9, 9 x 9 Small Works asks artists to respond to this theme within a 9 by 9 inch or less format. Now as we all know, what makes up a love potion for one person is an entirely different thing from another, and what artists choose to express in that small amount of a space takes us on different journeys into the land of creativity and in this case into the big one, Love. Join us in glimpsing what “potions” emerge out of the artists’ studios. Running the gamut in love potions from those intended for humans to animals to planetary aid, everyone is invited to partake in the artists' media-rich-alchemical mixtures, humor and wafting inspirations in Love Potion 9.
